Easter is a 50-day season, not just a Sunday! Join us Sunday April 23 at our 10 a.m. worship service for “Easter Lessons & Hymns”–we will hear all the Gospel stories of resurrection and sing the Easter hymns we don’t get that many opportunities to enjoy.
We will not be having worship at church tomorrow, January 8th, due to the parking ban and snow.
Our inclement weather policy is that whenever there is a parking ban in effect in Pawtucket, activities at Good Shepherd are cancelled. For Sunday worship, we cancel any time there is a parking ban in effect at midnight on Saturday night or later.
Stay warm and safe! You can always worship at home using your Prayer Book and Bible–Morning Prayer begins on page 75 of the Prayer Book. Online, you can find Morning Prayer for this Sunday here.
We are kicking off a full autumn at Good Shepherd this Sunday. Worship moves back to our regular 10 a.m. time AND back into the church, where renovations and updates are just about complete.
We are also launching our new Sunday School program, Building Faith Brick by Brick. Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. in the parish hall and Sunday School itself begins at 10 a.m. in the Jenks Room. Children join their families in the church service just before the Offertory.
We will be cheering for the PawSox at McCoy Stadium as they defeat the Syracuse Chiefs on August 23rd. The ticket order has already been placed, but you can still join us for pre-game festivities and mingle in the stands if you have your own tickets.
